Gerald Andrews

Jerry is a second generation funeral director having grown up in the funeral business. He served his training with the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home in Colonial Heights, Va. while he was in mortuary school at John Tyler Community College. He worked for the Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home from 1977 until 1993 when he left to join his parents and became manager of the family business. He is a past president of Tidewater Funeral Directors and Virginia Funeral Directors Association. He is active in his church, and many local civic organizations.

Ann Andrews
Office manager
Ann joined our staff in June of 2010 after retiring from the Gloucester County Public School as a second grade teacher.She had been a school teacher for 34 years. She is married to Jerry Andrews and they have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Justin Russ
Funeral Director
Justin joined our staff as a part time employee. He became full time in 2009 and then decided to start his funeral service training and graduated John Tyler Community College in the Mortuary Science Program in 2016 and became a licensed funeral director in 2024. He and his wife, Jeri-Lee, reside in Gloucester with their 3 children.
