Rosalie Anna (Matott) Crawford Ruminski, 91, died on October 27, 2016. She was born November 10, 1924, the daughter of Fayette Matott and Rosalie Dieterle. She is predeceased by her parents and sister, Arlene Monroe. She is survived by her eight children: son Carl (Nancy) Crawford of Suffolk, VA; son Paul (Dana) Crawford of Pensacola, FL; son Ken (Jaclyn) Crawford of The Villages, FL; daughter Lauren (Michael) Clear of Apex, NC; daughter Joyce Jenkins of Apex, NC; son Donald (Edie) Crawford of VA Beach, VA; daughter Nancy Roth of Hartfield, VA; and son Roy (Donna) Crawford of Chantilly, VA. She has 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Although born in Flint, Michigan, Rosalie spent most of her childhood and early adult life residing in Liverpool, NY. She moved to and held many residences within Virginia to include Virginia Beach, Vienna, the Northern Neck and Gloucester. At the top of her Civil Service career, she was a Financial Manager for the White House Military Office. Rosalie was a life-long member of Lynnhaven Chapter 184 of the Order of Eastern Star. She had a passion for music and played the piano. She also loved card games and Sudoku. A family celebration of Rosalie's life was held on October 29th.
