Tappahannock, Va. dateline

William Lee Loser, III, 79, passed away on March 3, 2025 at his home. He was born in Newport News, Va. and was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Hall Loser, Jr. He was retired from Local Union 540 Pipefitters/Steamfitters  for over 35 years where he was a pipefitter. He also had been a foreman on the Monitor-Merrimac Tunnel Construction and a master plumber. He was a member of Center Cross Church of God.He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous having celebrated 20 years sobriety. He was also a veteran of the Viet Nam War having served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette, sons Cary (Anne)  and James, Mike(Angel), Patrick(Danella), brother Bob(Dean), sister Marie(Bob), grandchildren Josie, Jacob, Tyler, and Andrew and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Center Cross Church of God. Memorial donations may be made to Center Cross Church of God.  Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
