Reverend William Thomas Foxwell was born on October 9, 1947 in Chowan County, North Carolina to the late William T. and Ella Blount Foxwell. He slipped away into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

He is married to the former Maggie McEachin of Maxton, North Carolina.

William retired from Gloucester County School System after serving as a Science Teacher for 32 years. He served as a Pastor of Angel View Baptist Church, Lanexa, New Kent County for eight years.

He leaves precious memories to his wife of 50 years Maggie Teresa Foxwell; one son Michael T. Foxwell of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter Wanya T. Kimble of Gloucester; one grand daughter Yasmene Kimble of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers Rudolph L. Foxwell (Cynthia) of Oxon Hill, Maryland; Charles E. Foxwell (Pamela) of San Antonia, Texas; two brothers Charles Brown of Colmar Manor, Maryland and Willie McEachin (Brenda) of Rockingham, North Carolina; one uncle George Blount (Thelma) of Norfolk, Virginia; four aunts Evelyn Williams and Dorothy Blount of Edenton, North Carolina; and Emma Blount of Brooklyn, New York and a host of nephew and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at First United Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Gleaning Baptist Church Building Fund. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
