Wayne E. Niskanen was born on September 8, 1935 and died on June 10, 2017. Wayne had a great passion for the art of land surveying and took pride in his profession. He founded Land Surveys, Inc. in Front Royal, Va. which he operated for over 40 years. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fly fishing, boating, birding and hunting. Being of Finnish decent, Wayne was born with "sisu" which embodies bravery and mental fortitude. In Wayne's memory, donations can be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation at www.cbf.org.
