Virginia "Jenny" Louise Potter, of Gloucester, VA , passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 22nd, 2018 after a short illness. Virginia was born on August 17th, 1937 in Mt. Nebo, WV to the late Guy Vernon Conard and Violet Sebert Conard.

Jenny loved to spend time with all of her friends. One of her favorite hobbies was to go walking with them. When they were not walking, they would often spend their time going out to eat and just having fun.

Jenny was also an avid reader and a lover of animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Potter; son, Benny Potter; brothers Bernard Conard, Ottis Conard and Kyle Conard; sisters Jane Tinney, Beverly Sattler and Lilly Doodie Hughes; three fur babies (Bichon Frise dogs) Dusty, Misty,

and Tess.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Solczak and her husband, Ed, of Dallas, TX; daughter in law, Paula Potter of Leesburg, VA ; granddaughters, Lisa Potter of Newport Beach, California, Amy Robinson of Arizona, Nicki Fleck of Dallas,Texas: and grandson, Aaron Schwartz of Chicago, Illinois; and six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Gloucester Mathews Human Society, PO Box 943, Gloucester, Virginia 23061. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
