Tonya Vanvalkenburg Gibson, 56, of Gloucester, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 27th, 2022.

Tonya was born to the late Bernice Plante and Manley Vanvalkenburg in New York on August 6th, 1965. Tonya is survived by her husband, Paul Gibson, her step father Walter Plante, and her siblings, Tammy, Jessie, Manley, Avery and wife Sylvia Vanvalkenburg. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Stasis.

Tonya was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. On any given evening, you could find her cruising the back roads of Gloucester with her loving husband, Paul. Tonya was a very sentimental soul, who took pride in her collections of mementos and keepsakes of important moments in her life. Her friends and family meant the most to her, as she cherished every minute spent with them and spoke fondly of the memories she made with them.  She will be deeply missed by those who held her close.

A celebration of life is planned for Tonya on August 6th, 2022 in Gloucester, Virginia.
