Timothy James Worrell, 57, of Gloucester, VA passed away Friday, September 22, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey H. and Barbara Worrell, and brother, Aubrey H. Worrell, Jr.

Sgt. Worrell was a retired Virginia Conservation Police Officer and former Isle of Wight County Sheriff's deputy. He was an avid outdoorsman, beach goer, and Virginia Tech Hokies football fan.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jennifer H. Worrell of Gloucester, VA; children, Maj. Travis Worrell (Brittany) of Las Vegas, NV; Ashley Bentley (Kyle) of Smithfield, VA; Kindred Worrell and Peyton Worrell of Gloucester, VA; three grandsons, Donald James and Kyle Christopher Bentley, and Easton James Worrell; two sisters, Joyce Alphin (Harrell) and Tammy Jones (Kevin); along with his faithful companion, Reesie, and  numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church at 10:00 AM. The funeral will be immediately afterwards at 11:30 AM with Pastor Curt Faison officiating. Burial in the church cemetery and luncheon in the fellowship hall will also directly follow.
