Theresa Stirling Goldstone, age 89, passed away in Gloucester, Virginia on February 25, 2017. She was born in North Carolina but grew up in Washington DC, graduating from Eastern High School. She also graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. She was the daughter of Simon and Gladys Stirling. She was married to John A. Goldstone (who also graduated from Eastern High School), for almost 67 years. They lived from 1960 to 2001 in Springfield, Va. and then settled in Virginia Beach, Va. She is survived by her husband, son and daughter in law, Dr. John L. and Christina of Gloucester and granddaughters, Marcy Goldstone of Tacoma, Washington and Daniela Goldstone of Jefferson Wisconsin. She is also survived by her sister Florence Fulop and brother Dr. Charles Stirling. Theresa was a talented painter, and loved art, movies, and travel. Funeral services will be private.
