Sue Ann Anderson, 84, of Newport News, Va. and formerly of Gloucester, Va, passed away on August 29, 2026. She was born in Michigan and was the daughter of the late Leonard and Opal Ellen Hable.
She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin P. Anderson and is survived by her children, Michael Chenault(Sharon), Barry Chenault(Anita), Susan Cottle; her stepson Tony Anderson (Kathy), siblings Sally Vanlue, Tom Hable, and Sandy Desautels, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
