The Rev. Shirley L Dixon 83 went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 14, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Shirley was preceded in death by her late husband Herbert (Dickie) Dixon, daughter Robin Foster, grandsons Sammy Thompson and Chris Lowney, Baby great granddaughters Brandi & Sara Edwards, Braelynn Thomas, (3) angel babies. Sister Mary Alice, brother Bobby Hudgins.
She is survived by her children Stephanie Blaydes (Robert) , Karen Hogge, Warren Dixon (Sharon) 11 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, sister Betty DeAlba
Family will receive friends on Dec 27, 2025 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 pm with funeral service following at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev Norman Gallimore and Rev. Mildred Mabe officiating . Burial will be in Shackelford Chapel Cemetery.
