Sarah Isabella Harris was born October 26, 1941 to George W. & Helen R. Powell. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sarah enjoyed driving school buses for Gloucester Co. Transportation for more than twenty years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Byard W. Harris, Sr., son, Joseph R. Harris (Angie), granddaughter, Melisa Buvel, and sister, Helen (Teeny) Manuel.

Sarah is survived by her siblings, William Powell, George T. Powell, & Carolyn Hodge; children, Byard Harris, Jr. (LuAnn), Ben Harris, Sr. (Teresa), Teresa Harper (Raymond), and Joyce Whay (Bryan); and grandchildren, Ben Harris, Jr. (Carrie), Kasey Maurice (Stephan), Aaron Harris (Monica), Bryan Harris, Justin Harris, Bethanie Rose (Thomas), Samantha Whay, Raymond Harris, Sabrina Altman (Nick), Natalie Whay, Shelby Harris, Savanna Harris and Sarah Belle Harris; as well as numerous great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 7-8:30 pm at Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester, where funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Internment will follow at Olive Branch United Methodist Church.
