Ronald "Ronnie" Alan Abbott
May 17, 1949- November 9, 2022

Ronald Alan Abbott was called to eternal rest on November 9, 2022. Ronnie loved spending time with his family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing and birdwatching. He will be best remembered for his free spirit, kind heart, and overall joy he brought to those around him. Ronnie is survived by the mother of his children and former spouse Brenda Abbott, daughter Melissa Gilbert (Mike), son Ronald "Bub" Abbott Jr., grandson Joshua Gilbert, sister Brenda Miller, sister Teresa Stover (Duane) niece Leslie Miller, nephews Lloyd England and Jeramie Abbott. He was preceded in death by Richard Abbott (brother) Loretta Abbott (mother) David Wayne Abbott (brother) and David Abbott (father). A celebration of life will be held on November 19th at 1:00 pm at 6430 Langley Pines Lane in Lanexa VA.
