Robert Samuel Phippins
October 9, 1980 – December 26, 2024

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Robert "Bobby" Samuel Phippins, 44. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend who suddenly left us on Dec. 26, 2024 at his home in Gloucester, Virginia.

Bobby was born on Oct. 9, 1980 in Suffolk, VA to Rita (Smith) and Robert C. Phippins. He was a loving child, who quickly discovered his passion for music. Bobby was an accomplished guitar player, who thrived when playing and composing both independently and as the member of several bands.

He was married to Christy (Henk) Phippins on Aug. 21, 2004. She will miss his love for cooking, their long car ride conversations, and their shared loved of fast automobiles. They have three beautiful daughters: Zoë, Skylee, and Josie Phippins, who all three share his love for music. His girls were his world.

Bobby is survived by his wife Christy; daughters Zoë, Skylee, and Josie; mother Rita; brother Chris (Cynthia); nephew C.J. and nieces Michaela and Robbie Lynn; along with numerous other loved family members and friends.

He is predeceased by his father, Robbie Phippins.

A memorial service will be held at Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester, VA on January 3, 2025 at 2:00p.m. The family will host visitors following at his residence.
