Robert G. Lobdell 1947-2025. AKA Stud/Poppy passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2025, at his residence in Gloucester Virginia. He was born in New York to his parents, Winifred and Robert Lobdell. He was a longtime resident of McDonough, New York. He was a Marine Corps Force Recon, Vietnam veteran. He was a proud member of IBEW Local #1249. Robert was preceded in death by his son, John brother Greg and parents. He is survived by his brothers Jim and Rich Lobdell, and his sister-in-law Karen Lobdell. His two daughters are Mary (Lee) Skillin and Jenny Lobdell. His grandchildren, Madelyn (Tyler) Forbes, Benson, Brody, Mason, Caelan, and Payne, his great-grandchildren Raiza and Arlind Forbes, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. And who could forget his cat Booker T. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and telling a good story. He was an active member of Salem Community Church in Glouster, Virginia.
