Richard T, Willis of Richmond and Hartfield VA departed this life January 25, He was born June 3,1936 in Castlewood, VA. He was preceded In death by parents, William Cale and Beulah McNeer Willis and daughter, Page Ann Willis, He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mary Ann, son, Richard Dean Willis, wife, Robyn Dorsey Willis, grandsons Cameron, Griffln, brother, Bob D. Willis and brother-in-law, Tom Belton, wife Connie, Richard was a graduate of Big Creek High School, War, W.Va. and the University of Richmond where he received a full athletic scholarship, His brother, Bob, also received financial aide and accompanied him to the Univerlty. Richard played four years for the Spider's basketball team where he was captain his senior year, a member of the All Southern Conference Team and Virginia All State Team. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta. Richard spent 25 years with Blue Cross & Blue Shield where he retired as Vice President of Marketing, He was at Delta Dental of Virginia for 10 years and retired as Director of Sales An avid golfer, Richard was a member of Hermitage Country Club and Piankatank River Golf Club.
