Richard (Pete) Paul Peterson Sr. passed away at Riverside Hospital on March 23, 2021 due to surgery complications. He lived in Saluda,VA and was 70 years young.
He was born August 10, 1950 in Bloomington, IL and adopted early by Paul Eugene Peterson Sr. and Dorothy (Feiten) Peterson.
Pete had a long and decorated career with the US Army, then successfully operated Kat's Bulldog Trucking Company until retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Katherine (O'Dell) Peterson. He is survived by 4 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren .
Funeral services, provided by Andrews Funeral Home, will take place at Windsor Gardens Cemetery on Thursday, April 1st at 1:00PM.
