Richard Pedicord Kintigh, 88, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Raymore, Missouri and was the son of the late Alex and Ethel Pedicord Kintigh. He was a retired car salesman having worked a numerous car dealerships on the peninsula. He served his customers for over 65 years and they were very dedicated to him. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Newport News for over 65 years.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 34 years Patricia Louise Kintigh and is survived by his wife Melissa Lee Kintigh, son David Richard Kintigh, stepdaughter Kathy Townsend and family, stepson Regis Gerst and family, and grandchild Lillian Jarosz.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial services will be held at a later date. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
