Richard Edwin Barter, who was born in New Castle New Hampshire on December 1, 1935, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022.
He is survived by his siblings Gordon E. Barter. Caroline B. Brown, and Judith B. Cannon and is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Myrtle Barter, sister Joan B. Reinhold and the love of his life, Nancy Forrest who gave him her wonderful family to love.
There will be a graveside service at St. Paul's Cemetery, Susan, Va. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, PO Box 1417, Gloucester, Va.  23061. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
