Rebecca May Carlton Rilee, 92, passed away peacefully in the early hours of July 1, 2025 at Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation West Point, Va. She was born  the oldest of four children to the late Blanche  Ashley and Wilford M. Carlton on May 12, 1933 in King & Queen County, VA.
Rebecca was a homemaker  and volunteer at Gloucester Schools. She was a long time menber of Petsworth Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Lewis Rilee, two sisters Grace Lawson and Dorothy Lawson. Bay as she was affectionally known by her close family is survived by her son David Rilee and his fiancee Cathy, brother Ronald Carlton, grandchildren Rachel Lea, Lucas David and Richard Sidney, and six great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105 in honor of Rebecca's love of children.
Family and friends will gather for  a graveside service officiated by Pastor Mike Edwards on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11:00 a, at Petsworth Baptist Church Cemetery. Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester is in charge of arrangements.
