Obituary

Presley Carol Mullins of Gloucester, VA passed away on Friday, October 11,2024. He was born in Dickenson County, VA to the late Acie and Beulah Mullins of Coeburn, VA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Shirley Mullins, three daughters, Pamel Mullins, Patsy Mullins (David), and Cindy Carlton (Scott); seven grandsons, Christopher (Taylor), William (RM), Aaron (Amanda), Dillon (Kaylen), D.J. (Nicki), Dallas (Kasey), and Preston; two granddaughters, Melissa and Katelynn; and eight great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Savanah, Finley, Kelsea, Jameson, Hudson, Kinnick (coming in January) and Evelyn; three brothers, Estel (Mabel), Charles, and Tony (Sharon); plus a multitude of nieces and nephews.
He knew no strangers and always had a smile on his face. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He always wanted his family close. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing Johnny Cash songs.
The family will receive friends at the Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester, Virginia on Friday October 18, 2024 from 11Am until 12 Noon. A graveside service will follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens in Dutton.
In lieu of flowers monetary donations may be sent to Andrews Funeral Home. Since Carol's favorite thing was family gatherings, there will be a gathering at Witcomb Lodge @ Beaverdamn Park following the graveside service. Bring a covered dish.
