Obituary

On September 11, 1940, Philip Burton Perrine was born to Bernice Gerwig and Herbert Perrine in Barberton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by daughter, Jamie, parents, brother, Mike, and sister, Mijie.
On February 4, 1961, he married Bridget King of Norton, Ohio. With daughter, Jamie, they moved to Louisa County, Virginia in 1972 for employment at VEPCO in Mineral. As a computer specialist, he wrote a software program that is still being used today. As a sideline, he and his wife raised black angus cattle on a 60 acre farm for over 30 years.
Phil became an avid fisherman on the Chesapeake Bay, an under-rated carpenter, and a classic car enthusiast (1940 Ford). He enjoyed participating in cars shows—winning many trophies.
After retiring from VEPCO, he moved to Hartfield, Virginia to be closer to the bay. He became a dancer at his wife's insistence and became good at it.
Phil is survived by his adoring wife, Bridget, of 61 years, daughter, Pastor Nikki Passante of New Jersey, and many, many friends. He never met a stranger.
A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
