Pats Obit
Patricia Morris was the youngest child born to a large, talented family in San Antonio, Texas on February 19, 1943. Pat won numerous beauty pageants, took fencing, danced professionally, and studied advanced logic. Pneumonia derailed her plans for college, by taking her parents and nearly claiming her own life when she was in high school. So, Pat completed bookkeeping training. Afterward, Pat married and moved to the east coast where she was a bookkeeper for a university and later for Kmart Corporation for many years. After retiring, she looked after her grandchildren. They loved her dearly and devotedly, just as she always loved them. Pat loved to crochet, assemble jigsaws, and skillfully played all kinds of logic puzzles. She very much appreciated her membership in the DAR, and all that the Daughters of the American Revolution represent. She also taught her daughter and grandchildren to appreciate their heritage. She leaves behind her daughter, Susan McGaw, her son-in-law Tom, and grandchildren Rebecca and William. All of them miss her smiling face and sweet voice very much.
