Norma Rae Daulton, age 78, passed away on March 26, 2021.  She was born April 1, 1942 to Earl Garrett, Sr. and Mattie Bell (Jackson) Garrett.  Norma Rae was a member and ordained deacon at North Riverside Baptist Church in Newport News.

She is predeceased by her parents and her twin brother, Norman Garrett.  She is survived by her brother, James Garrett of Newport News; her husband of 35 years, Maynard L. Daulton of Gloucester; her son, Mike Barnette (Machelle); granddaughters Megan (Geory) Cox; and Madison Barnette (fiancé Kameron Deposquale); and great granddaughter, Lexi Cox and great grandson,Logan Cox, all of Cartersville, Georgia.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 2 at 1:00 pm at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News
