Mildred Howlett Bunting, 102, passed away on December 13, 2018. She was born in Gloucester County, Virginia on September 30, 1916 to Arlie Howlett and Agnes Gunn Howlett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doswell Bunting and two sons, David L. Bunting, Sr. and Ralph Davis Bunting; and her siblings, Buster Howlett, Raymond Howlett, Earl Howlett, Arlene Howlett Hall, Dorothy Howlett Sibley, and Joyce Howlett Clawson.

She is survived by her son, Robert J. (Bobby) Bunting; daughter-in-law, Nita Thurston Bunting; daughter-in-law Vivian Bunting; ten grandchildren, many great grands, great- great grands, nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Petsworth Baptist Church. She spend 89 years of her life in Gloucester County dedicated to being the best daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend a person could possibly be. She was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by all who were privileged to know her.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 4-5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 ay 11:00 a.m. at Petsworth Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Petsworth Baptist Church. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
