Michael Scott Heimerich, 56, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was born in El Paso, Texas and was the son of the late Glenda H. Gonzales and Lynn Heimerich. He retired from the shipyard in 2017 where he was a lab tech 3. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Vicky Brown Heimerich, children Carissa Rogers (Nathan), Nicholas Heimerich, Kaylynn, Dylan, and Jacob Heimerich,his step father Joe Gonzales, grandchildren Aubrey, Katelynn, Elsie, and Autumn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory in Gloucester, Va. Memorial donations may be made to Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 730, Mathews, Va. 23109
