Michael Robert Croxton Sr., 80, of Hartfield passed away at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024.

Michael was survived by his wife, Barbara; his Daughter, Lisa Shaffer; his Son, Michael Robert Croxon Jr.; a brother, James Edward Croxton; 3 Grandsons; 4 Great Grandchildren; he was predeaseased by a brother John Richard Croxton, Jr. "Junior"; and a Sister Julia Ann Adams "Judy".

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was a master carpenter, who built many houses in the local area, he was a waterman for many years, and later in life he prided himself in building intricate model work boats.

Michael retired to Hartfield. He loved to watch birds and squirrels as well as take cruises.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Cobbs Creek on Route 198 from 7:00-8:30 PM.
