Mary C. Wood, 86, of Gloucester moved on to reunite with her loved ones who have gone before her in the early morning hours of February 9th. She passed away peacefully at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Tombs County, Georgia on December 29, 1931. She is predeceased by her husband, Euthern Wood, son, Bennett Wood, daughter-in-law, Grace Wood, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, David Wood, Alan Wood and wife Evelyn, Lanell Jarvis and husband Nelson, Diane Johnson and husband Terry; daughter-in-law, Ruth Wood; grandchildren Karen Yarley (Steve), Angela Mosher (Brandon), Amy Burgener (Matthew), Diane Spring, John Jarvis, Virginia Jarvis, A.J. Hamilton; and great-grandchildren Bianca and Shane Mosher, Alexis and Aaron Yarley.
The family will receive guests from 1:00 to 2:00pm on February 12 at Andrews Funeral Home & Cermatory. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm with Rev. Dr. Douglas Nagel.
