Mary Ann ("Muzy") Gregory, 87, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was born August 10, 1929, in Athens, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Beverly Cogbill, her parents, James Walter and Annie Josephine Guinn Vestal of Athens, Tennessee, her sister, Helen Wright of Raleigh, NC, her sister, Jimmy Lou Jackson of Texas, infant son, Richard Beverly Cogbill, Jr. and son, Joseph Vestal Cogbill.
She is survived by her children, Mary Alice Hornsby, husband, Rick of Gloucester, Virginia, William Richard Cogbill, wife, Kimberly of Sherman, Texas and Raymond Loyal Cogbill of Dallas, Texas and five grandchildren.
Mary Ann ("Muzy") loved her plants and she had quite the "green thumb". She loved to cook and she loved all animals and most of all she loved her children. She never met a stranger and she will be missed by many.
