Marion Lee Jenkins Sr. 92, of Maryus, passed away on August 25, 2021. He was born January 6, 1929 to Harry and Mary Jenkins. He is preceded in death by both his parents, a brother, Raymond "Biggie Boy" Jenkins and a grandson, Marion (Boo) Lee Jenkins III, and a son-in-law, John Hess West. He is survived by his devoted wife, Alice Jenkins, of 66 years. Together they had nine children, Brenda West, Esther Mae Reiman (Glen), Marion Lee (Bubba) Jenkins, Jr. (Caroline), James Jenkins, Lucy Harris (Mark), Charlotte Jones (Carl), Tammy Jenkins (Chris), Don Jenkins (Sandy), and Daniel Jenkins (Tonya). He has twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Marion always said how much he loved his babies, nothing compared to them. He is survived by his sisters, Lucy Atwell, Peggy Jones and Susie Ann Deal and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marion was an avid waterman. He loved fishing, crabbing, oystering and clamming. He really enjoyed eating it also. He enjoyed NASCAR and listening to music.
His family is truly sadden by his death, gone but not forgotten. He will be forever missed by many. A service will be determined at a later date.
