Lottie May Chapman Horsley , 39 and still holding , passed away on Wednesday , May 30 , 2018 in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. She was born in Ware Neck, Va . and was the daughter of the late Claude M. and Lucille Pitts Chapman and the widow of Floyd Burgess Horsley. She retried from Eastern State Hospital in 1993 after 23 years of service.

She is also preceded in death by her daughter Claudia Jean Horsley and is survived by her sons William Floyd Horsley , Mark Anthony Horsley(Heather), and B r ian Keith Horsley(Brandy), brother James A. Chapman, Sr.(Barbara) , and grandchildren Samantha Marie Shackelford, James Warner Horsley , Anthony Keith Horsley, Ivan Gene Horsley, and Brian Keith Horsley, Jr .

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 5 , 2018 from 1-2:00 p.m . with funeral services stating at 2:00 p . m . Burial will be in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Ware Neck, Va. Memorial donations may be made to G l oucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue , PO Box 1417 , Gloucester, Va. 23061.
