Lola Mae West Green, 82, of Hayes, Va. passed away on August 25, 2023. Lola Mae retired from Eastern State Hospital sfter 36 years of service as a nurse charge aid and secretary. She was the daughter of the late John Henry and Hermie West. A devoted wife of 64 years to the late Samuel Leroy Green. She was also preceded in death by her beloved grandson, John "Johnny" Kenneth Green , her brothers Lewis Henry West and Joseph Alvin West and is survived by daughters Alice Elizabeth Green and Maggie Lynn Green.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home. The family will receive friends starting at 3:00 p.m. before the service.
