Linda Blackmon Savage, 77, of Newport News, Va. passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Riverside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Raleigh, NC and was the daughter of the late Clifton and Josephine Blackmon and was retired from the shipyard as a welding instructor. She was a member of Seaford Baptist Church, Hidenwood Bowling League, and the Eagle Vision Softball Team.
She is survived by her husband James Joseph Savage, Sr. her daughters Debbie Wood, Kathy Peters, Donna Mooney, and Jessica Savage; step children James Savage, Jr., David Wayne Savage, and Christina Lee Holland, five grandchildren, four step grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one step great grandchild.
The family will receive friends at Seaford Baptist Church on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with funeral services starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Seaford Baptist Church. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
