Leo Thomas Hogge, 77, passed away March, 17, 2024 at home. Leo was born and raised in Gloucester, VA. He graduated from Gloucester High School in 1967. He retired from Newport News Shipbuilding in 2004 after 37 years of employment where he worked on aircraft carriers in Dept X31. Leo was predeceased by his loving parents, Paul and Agnes Hogge and one stepdaughter, Bonnie Sandahl. Leo leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Kay Hogge, brother Billy Wayne (Wendy), one niece, Amy Thomas (John), two stepdaughters, Amy Cottee (John), Kristi Hunt (Jesse), 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Viewing will be held at Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester, VA on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 12:00 pm with memorial service to follow immediately after at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Rosewell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Abingdon Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
