Laura Bessie Bohannon, 86, passed away on Monday, December 11. 2023 with her family at her side. She was born in Mathews County and was the daughter of the late Dana and Mary Lou Mise. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 68  years Clyde Bennett Bohannon, Jr. , her children Keith Bohannon(Shelley), Kevin Bohannon(Cyndi), and Connie Leigh(Barry) 4 grandchildren Lori Bohannon Sanborn, Cristen Kyle Bohannon Logos, Steven Scott  Bohannon, and Krysta Paige Bohannon, sister Bernice Greene, and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 from 6:30-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023 in  the chapel of Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va.  Burial will be in Windsor Gardens Cemetery.
