Larry Dennis Riffe Sr.,79, passed away on Thursday, August 10,2023. He was born in Iaeger, WV and was the son of the late Leander and Edith Payne Riffe.He spent 25 years at Newport News Shipyard as a machinist. He retired from Phillip Morris Inc. as a machinist with over 15 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Joyce Riffe of 59 years, daughter Kimberly Zglinicki(Mike), son Larry D. Riffe, Jr.(Amy), grandchildren Kristina, Lauren, Josh, Kaleb, Chris, and great grandchildren Bentley, Brantley, and McKenna.
Larry enjoyed working outside with his cars and tractors. He also enjoyed boating and tinkering around the house and yard. He had a great love for his grandchildren.
We remember the life of Larry for the love he shared, the lives he touched and the wonderful memories that will remain forever in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.
A graveside service will be held at Rosewell Memorial Cemetery in Hayes, Va, onThursday, August 17th @ 11am. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
