Joyce Annette Jenkins Gloucester Point – Joyce, 79, passed away April 20, 2023, after battling Dementia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd-D Jenkins, and her son, Andrew V. Jenkins. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lynn Northcott and her husband Don Jay Northcott, two granddaughters, Jessica Lynn Northcott (Viktor) and Lauren Nicole Drummond (Robby), and one great grandchild, Lyla Grace Drummond. Joyce was born on December 11, 1943. She was raised in Gloucester and graduated from Gloucester High School in 1962. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, she was a Procurement Specialist at Fort Eustis. Joyce loved working in her yard and taking care of her loyal companion, Vinny the cat. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their incredible staff and loving caregivers as well as the Visiting Angels of Northern Neck. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Iris Altu and Dawn Estacio from Visiting Angels for all the love and special care they provided daily to support Joyce and the family.
