Joseph Albert Hashberger, 81, passed away on December 25, 2025. He was born in Providence RI and was the son of the late James and Genevieve Saleem Hashberger. He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from Huntington Ingalls Newport News Shipyard as a tool repairman after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Easter Hashberger, daughter Jennifer Livery, son Jody Hashberger, sister Eileen Belanger, and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
