Joseph Winder Gayle, 79, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2018. He was surrounded by those he loved.

He was predeceased by his parents; John and Lucille Gayle, and his brother; John W. Gayle, Jr.

He is survived by his wife; Mary C. Gayle, his son; Joseph L. Gayle(Lisa), Granddaughter; Ashley Stuhr (John), Great Grandchildren; Abigayle and Atticus Stuhr, Granddaughter Amanda Kerins (J.P.), his daughter, Hope Gayle Maner (Kevin), Granddaughter; Lyndsay Gholson (Griff), Great Granddaughter Cameron Gholson, andGranddaughter, Logan West. He is also survived by his sister-in-law; Rosie Gayle and sister-in-law; Bren Kemp (Guy.)

He was a retired brick mason, and he was retired from Anheuser Busch. He was a member of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church.

Services will be private with the family receiving friends at home.
