Johnny Edward Spencer

Johnny passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 peacefully at his home. Johnny was a retired construction superintendent. There was no where in Virginia or North Carolina that he didn't build. That was what he did.
He was a good husband and father. he loved to go fishing on his pride Boston Whaler. He loved spending time with the family camping, boating, sports, and gatherings. He loved God, Jesus, family and country. He had a good strong kind heart and would help anyone in need. This was who he was. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years Janie, sons Nicholas, Kristopher (Sammy), Jason Bryan (Mandy); grandchildren Chance, Kristian, Maddy, Sara, and Abby. Johnny also leaves behind his parents Edward and Marion Spencer, a brother Mark (Cathy) and a sister Cheryl (Jim), and also numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2-4:00 pm at the home he built for his family.
