Joan D. Ayers was born may 10, 1947 to the late Retha and Herbert Dixon and  was one of seven children. Joan entered into eternal rest surrounded by family on April 16, 2024.
Joan was a loving wife, mother, and nanny (Big Nanny). Joan loved the lord and never made a move without prayer. She made sure her kids and grandkids attended church regularly growing up. Joan was filled with Godly wisdom and was always willing to teach what she knew to those who listened.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Ayers Sr., Son Tracy Ayers, Great grandson Holden Ward III, Parents and brothers and sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children Madison (Becky) Dickerson, Warren (Lisa) Ayers, Lora (Tracy) Ayers, Paula (John) Charboneau, Michelle (Andy) Cottee, Dewey Jr. (Ashlyn) Ayers, Faith Ayers, sibling Carolyn Harlow,
Twenty-eight grandkids, and a host of great grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2-3:00 p.m. with  a memorial service starting at 3:00 p.m
