Jeffrey Lynn Williams, 69, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. He was a native of Wilson, NC. and was the son of the late Elijah and Virginia Williams. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He was with the Gloucester County Sheriff Office for 15 years until he went with the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail were he was a lieutenant. He was a member of Newington Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia O. Williams, daughter Leslie Roberts(Kevin), son Mike Burnett(Jenny), step father William Ray,and grandchildren, Haley, Nathan, Chris. and Jesse.

The family will receive friends at Newington Baptist Church on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 1-2:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
