James Lee "Jimmy Jam" Mountford,  63, passed away peacefully at his home in Cobbs Creek, Va. on May 7, 2026. He was the son of the late Raymond and Mary Moughon Mountford, Sr.
He retried from LCM Environmental Services. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved farming and working on vehicles, and really loved Fords. He graduateds form Mathews High School in the class of 1982.
He was also preceded in death by his sister Barbara Stegman, brother-in-law Mark Stegman, and niece Barbara "Bobbie" Conner and is survived by his 4 legged freind Natty, daughter Amber Mountford and her boy friend Shi Garn, grandson Carson Mountford, sister Laura Smith (Wayne), brothers Raymond Mountford, Jr. (Lori), William Mountford (Mehyun) nieces April Shinault, Veronica Stegmnan, Lexi Rose, and nephews  Nathan Mountford, Justin Mountford, and Kyle Mountford, great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, Va. Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester is in charge of arrangements.
