It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James Michael Curro, 70, of Gloucester, Virginia on Friday, July 18, 2025.  A proud Air Force Veteran who later served 35 years with NASA performing various technical roles and eventually retiring as a Test Director earning various honors including NASA's Exceptional Achievement Award.  He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; daughter, Maria, son-in-law, Michael, Son, Kevin, daughter Rebecca, and grandchildren; Alex, Catalina, and Febe.  Born in Rome, NY on Sept 30, 1954, to James Andrew Curro and Barbara Myles Curro.  A loving brother to Jon, Joe, Mary, and Ann.  As a respected member of the Gloucester Community, he leaves behind a legacy of love as big as his personality.  A celebration of Jim's life will be held August 1, 2025, at Bellamy United Methodist Church at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gloucester Fire and Rescue.
