Jackie Fary passed away on October 25, 2025. She was born on September 19, 1930 to William Franklin Thompson and Mary Hart Thompson at Hayes Store, Virginia. On October 27, 1951, she married Francis Rowe Fary.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Francis, and sister Shirley "Betsy" Thompson.

She is survived by her only child, Joseph Franklin Fary and wife Donna; grandchildren Brian Dunston and Lindsay Fary Nazak and husband Andy; two great-grandchildren, Asher and Mason Nazak.

Jackie was a member of Olive Branch Global Methodist Church where she served in the choir for many years and was a member of the Church Ladies Group.

She worked in the family business, W.T. Fary Brothers Company, where she was a partner.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday October 29 from 6-730P.M. A funeral service will take place on Thursday October 30 at 11A.M. at Olive Branch Global Methodist Church.

The family would like to Thank the employees of Heron Cove, where she has lived for the past eight years.
