Irene Josephine Williams died peacefully on March 4th, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born on February 16, 1935 in Rosman, North Carolina to Hillard W. Paxton and Bonnie Wyatte. Irene was friendly at a young age making friends everywhere she traveled. Her outgoing and bubbly personality contributed to her popularity as a waitress. She waited tables at many restaurants throughout her life. She always had a smile on her face and a spring in her step. Irene enjoyed reading and collecting books, corresponding with her many friends, and the family pets (of whom there were many). She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her Husband: Thomas Williams; One Sister: Mae Tolley; Her Son: Lonnie Johnson, Two Daughters: Cindy Brown and Susan James. She is preceded in death by her son Tom Johnson.Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
