Herman Kenneth "Bill" Parks, 83, passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born  in Newport News, Va. and was the son of the late Herman and Nan Parks. He was a longtime member of White Marsh Baptist Church and was active Salivation Army where he was chairman, Kiwanis Club, The Guest Progam, Boys & Girls Club, Shop with a Cop, and the Warwick Masonic Club. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Beside his parents he is preceded in death by his son  Kenneth Robert Parks, Sr, and grandson Robert Harwood, Jr. and is survived by his daughter Ann Parks Harwood(Robert, Sr.) brother Robert C. Parks, grandchildren Kenney Parks, Jr., Emily Baker, Brittany Harwood Hooper, and great grandchildren Hudson and Harrison Hooper, and Haven Baker.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to either Albingdon Volunteer Fire & Rescue or to Gloucester Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
