Henry Allen McCoy, 68, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at VCU-MCV Hospital in Richmond . He was born in Davy West Virginia. He served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War and retired from Washington Metropolitan Transit as a superintendent and was a member of the Gloucester DAV.
He was preceded in death by his father Mason McCoy and is survived by his wife Lorena McCoy,his mother Eula Arnold McCoy, his children Scott Allen McCoy and his wife Leslie and Cindy Reddington and her husband Tommy, sisters Janelle Smith, Vickie Hofmeister, and Janice Donatone, brothers Jack Arnold, Raymond McCoy, and Paul McCoy, and his grandchildren Sean Macphail and Brady Reddington.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 1-2:00 p.m. with funeral services stating at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will be at Windsor Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Chapter of D.A.V., 6265 Professional Drive, Gloucester, Va. 23061. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
