Mark Donner, 74, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026

Born on July 30, 1952, in Richmond, Virginia, Mark was the son of the late Lenard Carl “Bubba” Donner and Edith Pemberton Donner. He graduated from Gloucester High School in 1970 where he participated in sports, choir, and marching band.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Anne Donner Elgin, and her husband, Willie, of Fort Valley, Virginia; and his grandsons, Brock and Farmer Elgin. Daughter, Jacqueline Edwards (Dustin).

He is also survived by his brothers, Carl Donner Jr. (Irene), Greg Donner (Becky), and John Donner (Monique); his sister, Mary Temple Donner; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to thank Sanders Nursing home for their exceptional care and compassion the last several months.

A private graveside service will be held at Abington Episcopal Cemetery, where Mark will be laid to rest beside his parents.
