Frances Monica Spedaliere, 78, of Cobbs Creek, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was the daughter of the late George and Madeline Moscopulos. She was a graduate for Norview High School where she received  a Business Degree in 1965 and was employed at Riverside Hospital where she was supervisor of personal and payroll from Sept. 1968 to Oct. 1976. She was in charge of the fund raiser campaign for Walter Reed Hospital from 1976-1977. She was appointed assistant deputy clerk to the town manager in  West Point, Va. and was there from Sept. 1988  to Sept. 1996. She retired from Curtis Contractors as an accountant.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Sawyer, sisters Barbara Smart and Denise Lawrence, and her first husband Gerald Lee Sawyer, Sr. and is survived by her daughter Amanda Thompson, son Gerald Lee Sawyer, Jr., granddaughter Alyssa Thompson , brither Moe Malala, and nieces and nephews.
